About Cornfed Creations

Hi!  My name is Lisa!  Welcome to Cornfed Creations, where it’s my goal to share delicious recipes with today’s busy families!

Cornfed Lisa

As far back as I can remember, I have loved to cook.  Growing up as a country girl in the Midwest, I was surrounded by great country cooks that not only shared their delicious dishes at church and community potlucks, but also shared their experience, techniques and ideas with me.  Becoming a member of 4-H at a young age also gave me the opportunity to take many different food projects which helped further develop my love of cooking.  I have to give my Mom a lot of credit too!  Had it not been for her patience and understanding I would not have been able to experiment and explore in her kitchen with new recipes and techniques!

After my husband and I married and were busy raising our five children, I often heard “What’s for dinner?”  That’s when I began to plan my family’s meals each week.  Using the sales ads, I’d put together a weekly menu and create the grocery list too!  That way when I’d hear “What’s for dinner?” , I could respond with “Check the menu!”  We know that today’s families have hectic schedules and that it’s hard to put together a dinner meal on short notice.  The recipes that you’ll find here at Cornfed Creations  have been tried and, for the most part are fairly simple to re-create and fairly time saving!  I look forward to sharing recipes on this website in the future and hope that you and your family will try them out and give me your feedback!

Our goal here at Cornfed Creations is to talk about food and to help today’s busy families by providing new recipes to try along with tips I’ve learned feeding my family over the years.  It’s our way of helping you with what to feed the family for dinner!
