The hardest, and ironically, the easiest part about making Baked Sweet n Spicy Chicken Wings is that they need to marinate for 6-8 hours before they are baked.  Even though there is a wait involved, the flavor of these outstanding wings is SO worth it!

The marinade is easy to put together in a short amount of time.  That being said, this dish would fit right in to a day with  a busy schedule.  Make the marinade and add to a seal able bag (or container) along with the chicken.  Place in the refrigerator while you take care of your day’s ‘to-do’ list.  Then bake the wings when you get home!

Here’s how to make the marinade:

When it’s time to bake the wings, place them in a single layer on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper (to prevent sticking).  You could actually grill these yummy wings instead, if you choose.

While the Baked Sweet N Spicy Chicken Wings are baking, whisk together the ingredients for the glaze in a medium sauce pan.  Bring  the glaze to a boil and continue to whisk until it thickens.  Remove from heat and set aside until wings have baked for 45 minutes.

Remove wings from oven.  Turn each wing and baste with Baked Sweet N Spicy Chicken Wings Glaze.  Return wings to the oven for 15 minutes.  Then repeat basting process on the other side of wings.  Bake for an additional 15 minutes.  ** Note – Make sure that the wings reach an internal temperature of at least 165’F using a meat thermometer.  And they’re ready to serve!!
