Hey ya’ll! This week’s recipe is Hearty Beef & Tomato Lasagna! My family has always enjoyed this thick, rich and delicious Italian dish. When our kids were growing up, making lasagna took a lot longer to prep since the lasagna noodles had to be cooked first. With the convenience of oven ready noodles, now the prep time for lasagna is pretty much cut in half! I must say, this is an enormous bonus! Garlic Bread Pizza

This week’s featured recipe is a winner all the way around! How can you beat PIZZA for dinner? This recipe is so simple since it uses garlic bread for the crust and just add the toppings that you and your family love! Put it together. Bake it in the oven…..then dinner is served! Bring on the PIZZA!!! 🙂

- Preheat oven to 400’F.
- On baking sheet, scoop out center of bread, set aside.
- Spoon spaghetti sauce into center of bread and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle half of cheese over sauce.
- Evenly add additional toppings. Cover toppings with remaining cheese.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning over top of both halves.
- Bake approximately 30 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
- Toast scooped center of bread on additional baking sheet for future use.

- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and cool slightly. In a large bowl, add Italian dressing, Italian seasoning and garlic powder to pasta and combine gently. To the pasta mixture, add mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers, onion, peppercinis and about a quarter of the peppercinis juice and gently fold together. Chill three to four hours or overnight and stir before serving.

- In dutch oven or large skillet, brown ground beef with onions, garlic and Italian seasoning, drain.
- Add spaghetti sauce to beef mixture, mix well. Cook spaghetti as according to package directions, drain.
- Place spaghetti noodles on plates. Top with spaghetti sauce and desired amount of Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately.
