This week’s featured recipe, Cheesy shells & sausage, is a handy ‘go-to’ recipe that’s sure to please the family and fit your busy schedule. This simple but scrumptious meal solution goes together quickly, and paired with a family favorite veggie, I think you’ll enjoy putting it together on days when time is short! Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, slice smoked sausage into one inch sections and heat through in a large skillet or Dutch oven.
- Drain pasta and add to skillet with smoked sausage.
- Stir in butter, milk and cubed cheese.
- Continue to stir until butter and cheese are melted.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
You could add a can of veggies to this recipe and create a whole meal in one!

This week’s featured recipe is Stove Top Tuna Noodle Casserole! This simple, hearty recipe goes together quickly and is delicious! It’s sure to fit into your busy weeknight schedule! - Prepare noodles as directed, drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a skillet or dutch oven, sauté onion in butter. When onion is opaque, stir together tuna, soup and spices.
- Then stir in noodles and sweet peas.
- Heat through and top with shredded cheddar cheese.

- In a large skillet, sauté smoked sausage, onion, garlic and mushrooms in butter.
- Add broth and veggies. Bring to a boil. Continue to cook until veggies are crisp tender.
- Add angel hair pasta to broth and cook to desired tenderness. Broth should be absorbed into the pasta when pasta is finished.
- Add cream and stir in spinach.
- Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
