Hey everyone!  Welcome to 2016!  Thanks to all for your kind thoughts and prayers!  Although I’m currently still recovering from surgery, I am very excited to be back online and am looking forward to the coming year and sharing more delicious, time saving recipes with YOU! 
This week’s featured recipe is Stove Top Tuna Noodle Casserole!  This simple, hearty recipe goes together quickly and is delicious!  It’s sure to fit into your busy weeknight schedule!   I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how fast it goes together and how fast it disappears!  I’d love to hear from you, so please be sure to leave me your comments!  Until next time, have an awesome week!  Lisa

Stove Top Tuna Noodle Casserole

2 - 5 oz. cans tuna in water (undrained)
1 medium onion, diced
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 - 16 oz. can sweet peas
1 - 16 oz. pkg. wide egg noodles
2 – 10 oz. cans cream of mushroom soup
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp season salt
½ tsp black pepper
Shredded cheddar cheese


  1. Prepare noodles as directed, drain and set aside.
  2. Meanwhile, in a skillet or dutch oven, sauté onion in butter. When onion is opaque, stir together tuna, soup and spices.
  3. Then stir in noodles and sweet peas.
  4. Heat through and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
